School Closure - activities from Mrs Teal for Y5 children to complete.

Hello Year 5
Hope you are all well and not missing me too much!! I am missing you all.
I am including some tasks you could do at home, these are tasks that we didn't get round to finishing
Science - Watch Blue Planet with David Attenborough.
Research plants from different habitats ie the desert, jungle and mountains. How do they survive?, what do they look like?
RE - make an Easter garden
Art/DT - Design a castle - include features that we saw at Skipton Castle ie arrow slits, dungeon, banquet hall.
Create a flag for your family that you could fly.
Observational drawings of plants, trees (that you can see out of your window) or your pet.
Maths - Make your own Fast Maths. This could be times tables, addition, subtraction.
Practice telling the time past the hour, to the hour and 24 hour clock. All you have to do is keep looking at the clock and writing it down. Use the useful links we provided
Don't forget there is a daily maths lesson at 10am, using this link -  \https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/

PE - complete a daily workout with Joe Wickes - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ

Remember to keep reading.
Keep safe, stay inside and look after each other.
